Sharpening Stone Men’s Ministry – what are we about?
Sharpening Stone Men’s Ministry has been operating since March 2017, when it held its first Men’s Breakfast in Derby. Since then, Sharpening Stone Men’s Ministry has been holding regular breakfast events for men, meeting a need derived from a lack of men’s events within churches.
Over the past nine years—and certainly the past couple of years—men’s ministry has grown in churches, and many more men’s breakfasts are commonplace in church event calendars. This is great, and Sharpening Stone Men’s Ministry is pleased to have made a positive contribution to this change in visibility for men’s ministry in churches.
Now, Sharpening Stone Men’s Ministry is focusing on discipleship for men and coming alongside men to help them achieve their fullness in God, strive to live a holy life, and fulfil their God-given purpose, vision, and mission in life. As we move forward, we will be utilising larger men’s events and online as well as in-person discipleship programmes.
Sharpening Stone Men’s Ministry holds to the Evangelical Alliance Statement of Faith and includes a wide variety of church expressions, striving to be one in Christ!
